Nordeus and Phobos hosting Unreal Engine Game Dev Bootcamp

Nordeus Hub, is organizing another set of online workshops - Game Dev Bootcamp. Ivan Koroknai, one of Phobos's founders and its lead programer is taking up the mentle of the bootcamp's mentor.

Game Dev Bootcamp

After the previous program (Game Design Bootcamp) this spring, Nordeus Hub along with Phobos is organizing the next free online program. This time for all those who want to try their hand at technical game development - Game Dev Bootcamp. Everything the participants of the bootcamp learn, they will apply in making their FPS (first-person shooter) game.

This intensive four-week online program with great mentors and lecturers from the gaming industry (Epic Games,3Lateral, Phobos), including domestic and foreign experts, will last from November 15 to December 10, 2021. All those interested can apply, until November 12.

The program is going to be held online and there is no limit to the number of participants. As long as the prerequisites in terms of the necessary knowledge are met - everyone is welcome!

Phobos's lead programmer as a mentor‍

Ivan Koroknai, Phobos's lead programmer and one of the team's founders will share his vast experience in Game development and teach the participants how to design a first-person shooter game in Unreal Engine environment.

The mentor will be with the participants all the time and monitor their progress. The role of the mentor is to guide students through the game development process through practical work, show on the spot how which technique is applied in the Engine, explain in detail the areas and principles of using tools in Unreal through practical examples as well as be reachable for consultations with participants.
